Mar 12, 2026
Forlinx has introduced the FET-MX95xx-C SoM built around NXP’s i.MX95 applications processor family and demonstrated a multimodal industrial security solution at Embedded World 2026. The demo combines the i.MX95 processor with an Ara240 AI computing card to accelerate edge inference workloads.
MYIR has introduced the MYC-YM62LX system-on-module based on Texas Instruments’ AM62Lx processor family, along with the MYD-YM62LX development board. The platform is intended for embedded and industrial systems such as HMI devices, PLC controllers, EV charging equipment, medical systems, and industrial automation.
Grinn has announced two new products built around the Synaptics Astra edge AI processor family: the AstraSOM-261x system-on-module and the Synaptics Coral Dev Board development platform. The AstraSOM-261x is a compact module designed for integration into embedded products, while the Coral Dev Board provides a development platform for building and evaluating edge AI applications based on the same hardware architecture.
Gateworks has introduced the GW16168, an M.2 AI acceleration card designed to add dedicated neural network processing to embedded and industrial systems. The module integrates NXP’s Ara240 discrete neural processing unit (DNPU) and is designed, tested, and assembled in the United States for industrial edge AI deployments.
Texas Instruments has introduced two new microcontroller families aimed at bringing artificial intelligence processing to low-power embedded systems. The MSPM0G5187 and AM13Ex devices integrate TI’s TinyEngine NPU, a hardware accelerator designed to improve the efficiency of neural network inference on microcontrollers.
Arduino has introduced the Ventuno Q, a development board designed for robotics, embedded computing, and edge inference workloads. The platform combines a high-performance application processor with a real-time microcontroller in a dual-processor architecture intended for systems that process data and control physical hardware simultaneously.
The BeagleBoard.org Foundation has introduced BeagleBadge, an open-source wearable development platform for IoT and embedded applications. The badge integrates a 4.2-inch ePaper display, onboard sensors, wireless connectivity, and expansion interfaces in a compact board for prototyping wearable and interactive systems.
