The I-Pi SMARC Amston Lake is a prototyping kit built on Intel’s Amston Lake architecture, designed to accelerate embedded system development. Key features include dual 2.5GbE LAN ports with Time-Sensitive Networking support and CAN interfaces for industrial applications.

This kit includes the I-Pi SMARC Plus carrier and the LEC-ASL SMARC module, which features an Intel 7th Gen Atom x7433RE quad-core SoC. The SoC is equipped with Intel UHD Graphics, Intel’s Gaussian & Neural Accelerator, and security features such as Intel Boot Guard and Intel OS Guard.

The kit’s connectivity options are diverse, including MIPI-DSI and HDMI video outputs, dual-channel LVDS, MIPI-CSI lanes for cameras, and high-speed networking through dual 2.5GbE LAN ports with TSN support.

Further expanding its capabilities, the kit includes four PCIe x1 Gen3 slots, USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports, multiple UARTs, SPI interfaces, and general-purpose GPIO connections. For real-time control and automotive applications, it offers two CAN 2.0B or FD interfaces.
