SECO’s 3.5” Rockchip-based SBC offers dual GbE ports

The SAYLOR is a Single Board Computer integrating a quad-core Rockchip RK3568 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz. The device provides three display interfaces, various expansion ports and supports Android.

The SAYLOR is offered with a similar Rockchip processor as the Asus Tinker Board 3N which was seen earlier this month.

The GPU supports a range of graphics APIs, including OpenGL ES 1.1/2.0/3.2, Vulkan 1.0 and 1.1, and OpenCL 2.0. The embedded video CODEC supports hardware decoding of standard video formats like H.265, H.264, and VP9 at 4K@60fps.

One of the key features of the Saylor is its support for three independent video outputs. These include HDMI (up to 4K x 2K@60Hz), LVDS (up to 1920 x 1080@60Hz), and an eDP 1.3 (up to 4096 x 2160) interface.

For networking, the Saylor SBC features two Gigabit Ethernet ports, implemented using the TI DP83867 Ethernet PHY on an RGMII interface. This SECO SBC also offers optional on-board wireless capabilities, including an M.2 1216 module for WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0. Furthermore, an M.2 Socket 2 Key B is available for LTE modules.

The product page indicates that the SAYLOR supports Linux Yocto and Android. The embedded device is available in multiple temperature ranges, including commercial, extended and industrial variants.
