Habey’s “EMB-2200” is a 100 x 72mm SBC that runs Linux on an i.MX6 UL, and offers dual LAN with PoE, dual CAN, WiFi, BT, mini-PCIe, and -40 to 80°C support.

So far we’ve seen the 100 x 72mm Pico-ITX form factor used with NXP’s i.MX6 UltraLite (UL) system-on-chip on Digi’s sandwich style ConnectCore 6UL SBC Pro, which uses an integrated ConnectCore 6UL computer-on-module, as well as on a Pico-ITX carrier for F&S’ PicoMODA9 COM. Yet, Habey’s EMB-2200 is the first fully integrated i.MX6 UL based Pico-ITX SBC to draw our attention.

Like the other boards, the EMB-2200 runs embedded Linux, supports industrial temperatures, and focuses on lightweight IoT duty. Although the EMB-2200 lacks the ConnectCore 6UL SBC Pro’s NFC and Digi Xbee options, it similarly provides dual 10/100 Ethernet ports, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a mini-PCIe slot for cellular expansion.

Other features are generally more limited than the Digi board. However, unlike either the Digi or F&S products, the EMB-2200 features optional Power-over-Ethernet, as well as a wide-range power supply.

The up to 696MHz, Cortex-A7-based i.MX6 UL SoC is backed with up to 512MB RAM and optional eMMC, iNAND or SLC. There are 4x USB ports, including dual coastline ports, plus dual CAN and 5x RS-232, among other interfaces. The RGB LCD interface supports an optional 5-inch resistive touchscreen.
