Sep 28, 2024 — by Giorgio Mendoza 408 views

The E20C Mini Network Titan from Radxa is powered by the Rockchip RK3528A System-on-Chip and features dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Its ultra-compact form factor and aluminum case are designed to provide a space-efficient solution for various network applications.

The system integrates a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, clocked at 2.0GHz, and an Arm Mali G450 GPU, which supports OpenGL ES1.1, ES2.0, and OpenVG 1.1. This combination provides a solid foundation for network-intensive applications and graphical tasks.

For multimedia handling, the E20C supports H.264, H.265, and AVS2 decoding, capable of 4Kx2K resolution at 60fps. It also supports H.264 and H.265 encoding at full HD (1920×1080) resolution at 60fps, making it useful for both streaming and encoding tasks.

For users running demanding applications, external cooling solutions such as heat sinks or fans can help maintain optimal performance, especially as the system approaches the 80°C threshold, at which point clock speeds are throttled for reliability, as noted on the product page. More technical details and documentation can be found on the Radxa Wiki pages.
