Orange Pi has introduced the Orange Pi 6 Plus, a single-board computer intended for high-performance and AI-oriented computing tasks. It uses the CIX CD8180/CD8160 SoC with a 12-core 64-bit CPU and an NPU rated at up to 45 TOPS.
The SoC includes a 12-core architecture paired with an integrated graphics processor supporting hardware-accelerated ray tracing and 8K video decoding. While the official product page does not specify the CPU configuration, information from SBCWiki indicates that the CIX CD8180 consists of four Cortex-A720 “big” cores running up to 2.8 GHz, four Cortex-A720 “medium” cores up to 2.4 GHz, and four Cortex-A520 “LITTLE” cores at 1.8 GHz, along with an Arm Immortalis-G720 MC10 GPU.

Further Information
Orange Pi has not yet announced the pricing details for the Orange Pi 6 Plus. However, the product page is already live, and availability is expected through Amazon and AliExpress.
fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!
Look at the orange pi 5 plus and the driver support! Not again.
It’s hard to get the latest and greatest software support for this kind of hardware. Even on 5 plus, the latest ubuntu come from community project. 45 TOPs, I don’t know whether you will ever get the support for that.
This looks similar to the Radxa Orion O6. How is software support on that board these days?
Also personally 1 x 10g is better than 2 x 5g ethernet but both boards are like that so beggars can’t be choosers.
Could this be the us that Left has been waiting on to fix windows on arm?
