Jetway’s latest x86 industrial SBCs offer a choice of Pico-ITX or 3.5-inch form factors

Jun 28, 2026 — by Giorgio Mendoza 1,103 views

Jetway’s new PIC-TWL1 (Pico-ITX) and F35-TWL3 (3.5-inch) industrial SBCs leverage Intel’s 6W Atom N150 “Twin Lake” processor to offer low-power x86 computing with dual Gigabit Ethernet, varying from a dual-display ultra-compact layout up to a triple-4K configuration featuring cellular-ready M.2 expansion and SATA storage.

Both boards are designed for industrial and embedded applications requiring low-power x86 processing, Linux support, dual LAN, serial connectivity, M.2 expansion, and wide operating temperature support. Jetway lists the onboard Intel Atom N150 processor with a 6W TDP, DDR5 4800MT/s memory support, Intel Graphics, UEFI BIOS, watchdog timer support, and operation from -20°C to 60°C.

The smaller PIC-TWL1 measures 100 x 72mm and supports one DDR5 SO-DIMM with up to 32GB of memory. Display output includes one HDMI 1.4b port supporting up to 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz, along with one LVDS interface with co-layout eDP support. The LVDS interface supports up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz, and the board supports up to two simultaneous displays.

For networking, the PIC-TWL1 provides two Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet ports. USB connectivity includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports and an internal header for four USB 2.0 ports. The board also includes an internal header for two RS-232/422/485 serial ports, 8-bit GPIO, SMBus, front-panel connections, and an internal audio header.

Storage and expansion on the PIC-TWL1 include one M.2 M-Key 2280 socket with PCIe Gen3 x2 and SATA support for NVMe storage, plus one M.2 E-Key 2230 socket with USB 2.0 and PCIe x1 for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. Power is supplied through a 12V DC input, with both a DC jack and an internal 2-pin header available.

The F35-TWL3 uses the same Intel N150 processor but expands the platform into a 148 x 102mm 3.5-inch motherboard. Like the Pico-ITX model, it supports one DDR5 4800MT/s SO-DIMM with up to 32GB of memory, UEFI BIOS, Wake-on-LAN, a 255-level watchdog timer, and 12V DC input.

Display support is broader on the F35-TWL3, with two HDMI 2.1 TMDS ports supporting up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz, one DisplayPort 1.4a output supporting up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz, and one LVDS interface with co-layout eDP support up to 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz. The board supports up to three simultaneous displays.

The F35-TWL3 also includes dual Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and an internal header for two additional USB 2.0 ports. Serial connectivity includes one RS-232/422/485 header and three RS-232 headers. Other internal I/O includes 8-bit GPIO, SMBus, front-panel connections, chassis intrusion, and AT/ATX mode selection.

Storage and expansion options are more extensive on the 3.5-inch board. The F35-TWL3 provides one SATA III connector with SATA power, one M.2 M-Key 2280 socket with PCIe 3.0 x2 for NVMe storage, one M.2 E-Key 2230 socket for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, and one M.2 B-Key 3042/3052 socket with USB 3.2 support for 4G, 5G, or LTE modules. A Nano SIM slot is also included.

Both boards support Linux and Windows 11 64-bit, while the F35-TWL3 also lists Windows 10 64-bit support. Security options differ slightly between the two models: the PIC-TWL1 lists Intel PTT integrated fTPM, while the F35-TWL3 is available with either Intel PTT/fTPM or optional discrete TPM 2.0, depending on the ordering configuration.
