Jetway F35-ARU1 Combines Core Ultra SoC in 3.5-inch Form Factor

Jetway has shared early details of the F35-ARU1, a 3.5-inch subcompact board based on Intel Core Ultra processors from the Arrow Lake-U series. The board integrates CPU, GPU, and NPU resources within a low-power platform intended for embedded and industrial systems.

The system is offered with Intel Core Ultra 5 225U or Core Ultra 7 255U processors, both operating at a 15 W TDP. These processors include an integrated NPU for AI acceleration alongside Intel integrated graphics.

Memory support includes dual-channel DDR5 running up to 6400 MT/s through two SO-DIMM slots, with capacities up to 128GB. Storage options include a SATA III interface and multiple M.2 slots, including M-key (PCIe 4.0 x4 with NVMe support), B-key, and E-key expansion.

The board provides dual 2.5GbE Ethernet ports based on Intel I226 controllers, supporting features such as TSN and redundancy. Wireless expansion is supported through the M.2 E-key slot, along with a Nano SIM slot for cellular connectivity.

USB connectivity includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port (20 Gbps), three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (10 Gbps), and internal headers for four USB 2.0 ports. Additional expansion is available through four RS-232/422/485 serial ports via internal headers.

Display outputs include HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB Type-C with DisplayPort support, enabling up to four independent displays at resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz. The board also provides LVDS with optional eDP support.

The F35-ARU1 integrates additional features such as TPM 2.0 (optional), watchdog timer support, GPIO, SMBus, and I2C interfaces. Audio is handled through a Realtek codec with an internal header and a 3 W amplifier.

Power input is provided through a 12–36 V DC range, supporting industrial deployment scenarios. Operating system support includes Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux.
