ASUS has expanded its industrial motherboard lineup with new Amston Lake models built on Intel’s Atom x7000RE processors. Designed for Windows 11 IoT environments, these compact boards combine low power operation with support for high resolution video, extended temperature tolerance, and flexible connectivity for automation and embedded computing.

All four processors are built on the Gracemont microarchitecture and feature integrated Intel UHD graphics with support for up to 4K at 60 Hz output. The chips are BGA-mounted SoCs, permanently integrated on the board for increased reliability in industrial environments.

Each board integrates 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory to improve bandwidth efficiency while reducing power consumption. HDMI 2.0 output enables 4K at 60 Hz video capability, providing a single display option for industrial visualization or digital signage. Dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN supports redundant or split network operation in edge control systems.

Expansion is available through M.2 E Key for Wi-Fi or other wireless modules and M.2 B Key for LTE or 5G communication. The boards also feature multiple COM ports for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 devices, along with USB 3.2 for high speed data transfer.

A 9 to 36 volt DC wide range input allows reliable operation in variable power environments common in manufacturing and transportation.

According to ASUS product documentation, these motherboards share the same Amston Lake platform and offer identical peripheral and I/O configurations, differing only in processor selection from the Intel Atom x7211RE to the x7835RE.
