Affordable Radxa ZERO 3W Featuring Up to 8GB RAM and Onboard eMMC Storage

Radxa’s ZERO 3W is an ultra-small single board computer with high-performance capabilities. Based on the Rockchip RK3566 and supporting Wi-Fi6 / BT 5.4, this compact device is designed to cater to a wide range of users, from IoT developers to hobbyists.

Equipped with the Rockchip RK3566, the ZERO 3W supports various graphics standards like OpenGL and Vulkan 1.1.

RAM options are flexible including 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB LPDDR4, along with various onboard eMMC storage capacities such as 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Additionally, it features a Micro SD Card Slot for expanded storage and supports booting from both the eMMC and Micro SD Card.

Featuring Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth 5.4 with BLE, the device offers lower latency and increased bandwidth. Additionally, it allows for software-controlled selection between external and onboard antenna options.

The board provides a range of ports including one USB 2.0 OTG Type-C, one USB 3.0 Host Type-C, and a Micro HDMI port supporting 1080P@60fps. It also has a 22-pin MIPI CSI camera port and a versatile 40-pin GPIO array. For multimedia processing, it supports H.264/H.265 decoding up to 4K@60fps and encoding up to 1080P@60fps.

Radxa indicates that the ZERO 3W is optimal between 0℃ to 50°C, throttling speeds above 80°C. External cooling is advised for high-performance use. It supports Debian, Ubuntu, and other Linux distributions, and meets CE and FCC standards.
