ADLINK Technology Inc. has introduced the OSM-MTK510, a compact and rugged computer-on-module based on the MediaTek Genio 510 platform. Designed for efficiency, the OSM-MTK510 supports AI workloads while maintaining power efficiency and long-term availability for industrial and embedded applications.

The OSM-MTK510 features the MediaTek Genio 510, a 6-core processor with a dual-core Arm Cortex-A78 for high-performance tasks and a quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 optimized for low-power operations. With a power consumption of less than 5W, this module is built for energy-efficient computing while maintaining processing capability.

For AI applications, the module includes a MediaTek DLA+VPU AI engine with up to 3.2 TOPS, supporting real-time decision-making in machine learning tasks and image processing. An Ethos U-VP6 AI processing unit further supports AI inference for edge computing.

The OSM-MTK510 supports up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and up to 128GB eMMC storage, providing a memory architecture suited for handling large datasets and computationally intensive tasks. Additional storage options include Q-SPI flash storage for flexible data configurations.

The module supports various graphical output interfaces, including HDMI 2.0a, eDP, and MIPI DSI, enabling 4K resolution displays. A MIPI CSI RX interface supports up to 30MP image sensors, making it applicable for industrial vision systems and AI-based image recognition.

Connectivity features include a Gigabit Ethernet RGMII interface, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, and I2S audio codec support. With 17 GPIOs and multiple expansion busses such as SPI, I2C, and UART, the module integrates into diverse embedded systems.

Built for demanding environments, the OSM-MTK510 includes an optional extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for industrial applications that require reliability. Software support for the OSM-MTK510 includes Yocto Linux BSP and Android (project-based support). Extended support is available through Foundries.IO Linux microPlatform, providing flexibility for various embedded software environments.
