Nasdaq delists Linux antagonist SCO

Dec 28, 2007 — by Rick Lehrbaum — 4 views

The SCO Group — infamous for its attacks on Linux over alleged Unix copyright infringements — slipped further toward an abyss from which it is unlikely to emerge, with the announcement that it was delisted by the Nasdaq stock exchange effective December 27, 2007.

“As a result of having filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel has determined to delist the company’s securities from the Nasdaq Stock Market and will suspend trading of the securities effective at the open of business on Thursday, December 27, 2007,” SCO stated in a terse news release.
