Security stack adds Yocto Linux support

RunSafe Security has released a version of its Alkemist security software that supports Yocto-based projects. Alkemist’s Load-time Function Randomization re-stacks memory functions to make it harder for attackers to find a target.

Timesys and NXP partner on BSP maintenance service for embedded Linux

Pico-ITX board runs Linux on an i.MX8M Mini

iWave’s “iW-RainboW-G34D” is a Pico-ITX dev kit with 5.5-inch display and a CSI cam that runs Linux on an i.MX8M Mini via its “iW-RainboW-G34M-SM” module. The kit supports NXP’s eIQ ML software for image recognition.

Embedded Linux joins the Covid-19 battle

Seco spins 3.5-inch Ryzen Embedded SBC plus a managed Linux distro

Linux-based ML kit for AWS combines i.MX8 QuadMax with an industrial camera

Toradex has launched a $490 “Apalis AI Vision Starter Kit” that runs Torizon Linux and an optimized ML stack with AWS IoT Greengrass on its i.MX8 QuadMax based Apalis iMX8 module. The kit includes Toradex’s Ixora Carrier Board and an Allied Vision Alvium 1500 CSI2 camera.
